Founder and Principal
Founder of Knotweed Solutions, Drew qualified with a Masters degree in Town Planning and Sustainable Development from University College Cork in 2010 preceded with a BA (Hons) degree in Geography and Economics in 2008.
Drew has been the recipient of the prestigious Irish Undergraduate Awards Gold Medal in Geography and has had his research published in an academic journal.

Before focusing on invasive plant species, Drew worked in the private sector as a Planning Consultant in Cork City working on a number of development projects across Ireland.
​
Drew has always been passionate about environmental issues and recognises the impact invasive plant species are having on our native flora and fauna and natural features but also the significant economic impact invasive plant species, most notably Japanese Knotweed, can have on built structures such as homes, roads and underground services (water, gas, sewage) costing the Irish economy in excess of €15 million annually to control.
